About Us

Prodigious Capital, LLC is a privately owned and independently operated merchant bank providing an array of services and products to participants in the real estate marketplace.  Prodigious Capital’s predecessor firms; Prodigious Capital Group, Prodigious Capital Advisors and Prodigious Capital Funding, were founded in 2005 as three independent companies to provide sell side services to owners, operators and developers seeking to access capital from the institutional investor universe.  With the onset of the global credit crisis Prodigious Capital identified the need to provide buy side services for market participants seeking to capitalize on the current dislocation and the opportunities to follow.  Prodigious Capital investment/merchant banking and advisory efforts focus exclusively on the real estate market across all property sectors.  Additionally, Prodigious Capital has identified several arbitrage plays between real estate and other non-correlative asset classes.  Utilizing these creative structures Prodigious Capital is able to deliver higher values and pricing to sellers of real estate and debt assets.

 

Strategic Relationships

Levering long standing relationships Prodigious Capital has forged strategic alliances with several companies to further enhance its product offering.

ICON International engages in corporate barter in North America.  Icon is wholly owned by Omnicom Group, a publicly traded company (NYSE symbol OMC) and the world’s largest family of advertising, marketing communications and related firms.

Prodigious Capital in seeking to acquire real estate assets or loans that are either impared or no longer meet their portfolios parameters.  Levering Icons access and expertise, Prodigious is able to pay substantially more for assets then what could normally be obtained via a traditional asset sale execution.

 

The Milestone Group owns and manages, through wholly-owned subsidiary Milestone Management, approximately 30,000 multifamily units in over 100 properties located throughout major U.S. metropolitan markets. 

Prodigious Capital is co-originating debt transactions for one of Milestone’s proprietary funds.  The fund can acquire multifamily assets, purchase and originate loans secured by multifamily properties and acquire cmbs traunches backed solely by multifamily loans.
